Jamie Zelechowski, PhD is assistant teaching professor of German in the School of International Letters and Cultures. In addition to her experience as a professor in the German programs at Temple University and Illinois Wesleyan University, she has experience as an instructional designer at Arizona State University. Her research interests include German and Polish film and migration history, with a focus on cinematic portrayals of forced migration and the resignification of borderlands. She is also invested in rethinking the role of language instruction in higher education as well as in designing and sharing accessible learning experiences that support multilingual learners.
