Monica Ballesteros joined the ASU Enterprise Marketing Hub in August 2015. She provides enterprise leadership of strategic social media marketing activities for the ASU brand and helps guide the university's reputation across multiple social platforms. From daily interactions with ASU's advocates and followers to the creation of big-event social profiles and strategies, Ballesteros has helped build the university's digital brand.
Prior to joining the Hub, Ballesteros served Univision/UniMás Arizona for 13 years in a variety of responsibilities in the company's marketing and promotions department. Upon the launch of Univision Local Media Arizona, Ballesteros was appointed marketing and promotions manager, guiding television, radio and digital social media platforms. During her tenure, she earned several Emmy awards for her work, as well as the Promax 2014 Conference Community Award for Best Social Media Coverage.
Ballesteros is an alumna of ASU's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, receiving her BA in journalism (public relations) in 2002.
