Stephen Foldes, PhD is an assistant professor and the technical director of the MEG center at Barrow Neurological Institute. His focus is on using neuroimaging and neurodiagnostics to evaluate brain health in clinical populations and to develop technology-based therapeutics. His methods include imaging (MRI, DTI, morphometry), electrophysiology (magnetoencephalography - MEG, EEG, and sEEG), and brain computer interfaces (stimulation and device control). He leads the technical and research aspects of MEG, high-density EEG, and epilepsy surgery imaging at BNI. Dr. Foldes's research has been focused on using advanced neuroimaging to investigate the functional and structural brain abnormalities in patient populations and the development of brain-computer interfaces.
