Eric is Department Manager III for the Navajo Department of Family Services, overseeing the largest American Indian social service program in the U.S. Eric manages all fiscal operations and direct services such as child protective services, adult protective services, case management, child welfare in-home parenting, Title IV-E eligibility, domestic violence intervention/shelters, foster care recruitment/retention, and community outreach programs.
Eric is a Licensed Master Social Worker and possesses over 15 years of social work experience in program management, policy reform, and program design/implementation. He is an advocate for the Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women movement and is appointed to lead the Violence Task Force under the Navajo Nation's Dine' Action Plan. He enjoys big game archery hunting, weightlifting, and spending time with his Siberian huskies. Eric is from Sawmill, AZ and comes from the Mescalero Apache and Navajo tribes.
