Andrea Feller, the curator of education since 2007, manages Educational and Public Programs for the ASU Art Museum. Feller holds a Master of Arts in Art History (‘11) and a certificate in Museum Studies (‘10) from Arizona State University.
In 2017, Feller led an initiative to bring the nationally-acclaimed group Museum Hack to the ASU Art Museum. She worked with Museum Hack to implement a series of uniquely innovative events targeted toward young adults. This successful program brought hundreds of new visitors to the museum. As part of her work Feller oversees and mentors graduate and undergraduate Windgate interns. “One of the most rewarding parts of my job is mentoring university students and seeing so many of them continue the work they started at the ASU Art Museum at museums and cultural institutes across the country,” says Feller.
When she is not planning the museum’s next event, or activating the museum’s workshop space, you can find Andrea hanging out with her husband and Penny the Pitbull.
