Long Bio
Michelle Glerum began her teaching career as a secondary English language arts teacher in Scottsdale, Arizona before teaching at Arizona State University. Dr. Glerum specializes in language and literacy education and teacher preparation. She has presented at numerous local, national, and international conferences to disseminate her research, which focuses on language and literacy practices in secondary and post-secondary education as well as beginning teacher transitions. Her work has been published in venues such as English Journal, Voices from the Middle, and California English. She is the editor of the Arizona English Journal and directs the Arizona English Teachers Association Early Career program.
