Ann Sebren is a Teaching Professor in the College of Health Solutions and a College of Health Solutions Career Track Distinguished Faculty. Her primary teaching area is focused on the science and practice of stress management and regulation, including a graduate course in Mindfulness, Stress, and Health. She has completed the 7-Day Professional Training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and the Teacher Practicum at the former University of Massachusetts Medical School Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society and has been teaching MBSR for over 10 years. She is a Mindfulness Training Institute Certified Teacher and a Certified Mindfulness Teacher - Professional (CMT-P) with the International Mindfulness Teachers Association. Her teaching and scholarly interests are focused on the science and practice of stress regulation and mindfulness for optimal stress outcomes, improved well-being and health behavior change.
