Margaret Adams has more than fifteen years professional experience developing and implementing homelessness and housing programs. She currently works for the City of Phoenix, Office of Homeless Solutions implementing emergency shelter and permanent housing programs. Prior to joining the City of Phoenix, Margaret served as a Senior Program Manager with the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH) for more than 4 years, providing technical assistance, training, program design and evaluation to multiple states, county, local governments, and non-profits. Before joining CSH, she served as Senior Policy Advisor and Program Administrator for Maricopa County’s homelessness programs. Ms. Adams is experienced in the development of housing and support services for high cost, high need people who are unsheltered and have multiple touches to the health care and justice systems.
Ms. Adams has comprehensive knowledge of federal homeless assistance programs, including ESG, CDBG, and HOME. Margaret is committed to using data to drive performance improvement, inform decisions and planning efforts. She has worked closely with regional systems of care; including Medicaid, public housing, workforce development, community action programs, and leaders to leverage and align resources while remaining accountable and measuring progress.
