Dr. Maureen King received her Master’s in Public Administration from Arizona State University in 2007 before going on to receive a Doctorate in Education from Northern Arizona University in Educational Leadership in 2013. Her research interests focused on employee engagement and how university employees understand and practice sustainability while at work. Dr. King recently presented at the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) Conference in Nashville 2013, was selected to represent Northern Arizona University at the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE) in St. Louis 2013, and presented at the inaugural Arizona Higher Education Sustainability Conference (AHESC) in Tucson 2014. She is currently the Manager of Materials Management at Arizona State University and her department was awarded the President's Award for Sustainability for 2013 and 2014.
