Long Bio
John Paletta is an instructor of philosophy at Arizona State. He teaches Introduction to Philosophy, Logic, and Ethics. His research interests include the history of philosophy, virtue ethics, and stoicism. He is also interested in the development of pedagogical practices that are particularly useful or relevant to philosophy. This would include communicating philosophical ideas in new forums and presenting philosophical ideas to new audiences and disciplines. He is the author of several articles on the use of Platonic philosophy in the writings of Saint Augustine of Hippo. Paletta has taught at Arizona State since 2016.
