">Sharon
Keeler is chief media officer for the Ira A. Fulton Schools of
Engineering. She is responsible for uncovering, creating and placing
stories that advance the image of the Fulton Schools, its faculty
and students. She also manages the schools' relationship with the
media and helps connect faculty experts with reporters. Prior to
joining the Fulton Schools, Sharon was director of ASU Media
Relations & Strategic Communications, where she managed the
university's media strategy and staff across all campuses for more
than 9 years.

">Sharon has
nearly 30 years experience in marketing and communications, the
majority spent in higher education. She joined ASU in 2005 as
national media relations officer and was named director a year
later. Prior to relocating to Arizona, she worked for 15 years as a
science writer and media relations officer at the University of New
Hampshire. She also is experienced in corporate communications and
marketing, and worked as a sports and education reporter. Sharon
holds a master's degree in American Media and Popular Culture from
Arizona State University and a bachelor's degree in English with a
writing concentration from the University of Maine.
