Natalie has been with Arizona State University since 2005 with over 23 years K-12 and higher education experience. She joined the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College in 2015 and currently supports research and outcomes with the Next Education Workforce team. In 2015, Natalie led the implementation of ASU’s First in the World federal research grant, ProMod. It included partnering with university faculty and high school teachers to re-design their classrooms using project-based learning. As Executive Director of Access ASU, Natalie oversaw 10 different programmatic strategies to reach the diverse population of Arizona. She also launched Arizona’s first Earn to Learn program in partnership with the Department of Health and Human Services to leverage ASU’s financial aid funds to match college savings accounts of low-income high school students. Prior to coming to ASU, Natalie taught middle school and managed a prevention focused federal grant in 4 elementary/middle schools. Natalie has a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education from ASU and received her Master’s and Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.
