Dr. Russ Gazda currently teaches courses at the ASU Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College and often teaches computer science as an adjunct instructor at Phoenix area community colleges. He received his Doctorate from Arizona State University in 2005 in Curriculum and Instruction. He also holds a Master's Degree in Educational Media & Computers from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Design from Illinois Institute of Technology. Dr. Gazda has experience as an instructional designer with educational and corporate clients and has educational experience at the secondary, post-secondary, and university level.

Dr. Gazda worked in the Training Department at Petsmart, Inc. as an instructional technologist from 1998 until 2001. He developed the first computer-based training programs for retail store associates.
