Sandy Somers is an Assistant Director on the Career Management team at W. P. Carey School of Business, specifically partnering with MBA students. Sandy believes that business is personal and that sharing expertise and knowledge about career management prepares students to achieve their career goals. She has always been fascinated with people’s careers and successfully transitioned from the healthcare field to starting a career coaching business 15 years ago. She is credentialed as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF) and completed the Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) curriculum through the National Career Development Association. She is also a past president of the Arizona Career Development Association. Sandy holds a B.S. in Nursing from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a M.S. in Nursing from Arizona State University.
