Eric Johnson

Eric Johnson is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the School of Interdisciplinary Forensics (SIF). His academic and professional work focuses on criminal investigations, forensic psychology, criminology, policing, and the application of behavioral science to investigative decision-making. Dr. Johnson brings an interdisciplinary perspective to these areas developed through extensive university teaching and professional experience in the criminal justice system.

Dr. Johnson has taught undergraduate and graduate courses across criminology, criminal justice, psychology, policing, and criminal investigations. Alongside his academic career, Dr. Johnson has served as a federal criminal investigator, bringing firsthand investigative experience to his teaching and scholarship. This combination of academic training, teaching, and investigative experience informs his approach to interdisciplinary forensic education and provides a foundation for connecting scholarly research with the realities of professional practice.
