Rebecca Fish Ewan is the author the hybrid creative nonfiction book, By the Forces of Gravity (Books by Hippocampus, 2018) and A Land Between: Owens Valley, California (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2000), which won a National ASLA award. She holds degrees in mathematics, landscape architecture, and creative writing, and teaches landscape design, history and theory courses. Her research is grounded in the connections between people and place, and the creative and cultural expressions that evolve from these connections. Her creative activities focus on hybrid form work, specifically the mingling of words and drawings.
