Margaret Jarvis is an Associate Director and part of the Career Management team at W. P. Carey School of Business, specifically leading the Undergraduate student-facing team. Margaret has experience partnering with students at all educational levels, but most specifically has expertise working with those in the beginning of their career management process as they develop their strategy, learn how to conduct market research, and prepare for their first roles. Margaret believes that the work she does to prepare students in their career decision making early on in their college career impacts the steps they take as they prepare for their professional career. Margaret is a National Certified Counselor and Licensed Associate Counselor and in addition to working at W. P. Carey for the past 4 years, has experience in the Healthcare industry focused on client relationships and managing documentation compliance for state funded programs. Margaret received her B.S. in Psychology and Family and Human Development from the University of Arizona and Masters of Counseling from Arizona State University.
