Brenda Palacios is current Department HR Assistant Director for the Senior Vice President's Office of Educational Outreach & Student Services. Prior to working at ASU, she held a role as an Area HR Generalist for a non-profit organization, as well as worked as an HR Partner for manufacturing and mining organizations supporting working teams and management alike.
She initiated her Human Resources career in the mining industry looking to support employees and to ensure fair and healthy work environments, serve as a guide and be a support system overall. She found her purpose to be in this field after seeing the value in people and their right to have the best working relationships with the organization they work for. She feels it is of mutual gain to ensure both the employees and organization are protected and loves to be the guide in doing so.
Aside from working within the Human Resources field, Brenda enjoys being outdoors mainly running out in AZ trails but also enjoys hiking and mountain biking.
