Nalini Chhetri is a Clinical Professor in the School for the Future of Innovation in Society and the School of Sustainability. She holds a doctorate in education policy studies with a minor in demography from Pennsylvania State University, and an M.Sc in Cyto-genetics.
Professor Chhetri’s work centers on STEM education among refugee communities, research design, climate and technological impacts in developing nations, knowledge systems, gender, and urban sustainability. Her career also included directing sustainable development programs for international nongovernmental organizations for over a decade. She works with think-tanks and agencies in China, Ghana, Guyana, India, Jordan, Nepal, Sierra Leone, and the USA. She has consulted for UNESCO and European bilateral agencies.
