Daphne serves as the Assistant to the Director of the School of Public Affairs at the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions. A dedicated career public servant, she brings extensive experience in project management, employee supervision, and client support. In her role, Daphne provides comprehensive administrative support to the faculty and staff, overseeing services, personnel functions, and program coordination. She also manages academic personnel processes and serves as a key point of contact for internal and external constituents.
In addition to her administrative duties, Daphne is an Instructional Professional for two foundational courses: PAF 112 Public Service and American Democracy and PAF 160 How to Survive the 21st Century, which introduce students to core principles of public service and emergency management.
Prior to her current position, Daphne was the Assistant Director of Public Services for the Arizona State University Library, a seven-branch system spanning four campuses. In that capacity, she provided strategic leadership and communication across all aspects of public services, including circulation, research assistance, accessibility, study space coordination, building operations, and security. She was responsible for the day-to-day management of all library branches, ensuring efficient personnel oversight and delivering high-quality customer service to the university community. Daphne has over 20 years of experience working with academic libraries.
