Liz Sortais serves as Director of the Working Professional MBA Programs which includes the Evening, Online and Fast-Track MBA Programs at the W. P. Carey School of Business. Liz is responsible for program strategies, managing academic advising, budgets, tracking of academic progress and ensuring that students feel that at WPC, business is personal. Prior to managing the Professional MBA programs, Liz managed a portfolio of Specialized Masters programs which include the Master of Accountancy, Master of Taxation, Master of Science in Finance, Master of Science in Management, Master of Global Logistics and the Master of Real Estate Development programs. Additionally, Liz manages and trains a team of coordinators and program managers who advise, prepare, engage, and ensure that students are on track towards graduation.
Before working at ASU professionally, Liz was a student earning her degrees at ASU. While a student, she discovered a passion for higher education and started her experience serving college students early. Over the past 16 years Liz has cultivated experience that spans a breadth of areas within a college/university setting including residential life, student advising, social and cultural programming, tutoring, training and development, and online classroom instruction.
