Bruce Oberstein is an interdisciplinary professional with a background and extensive experience in organizational leadership and health sciences in international contexts. His academic training is in business, health and chiropractic practice, and his expertise is an integration of management, organizational behavior, biology, anatomy and physiology, insurance and health care funding, psychology, nutrition and public health. Oberstein has experience as an international health educator with instructional program development in the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Nicaragua, Belize and Guatemala. These programs allow students to study and learn about the interconnection of culture and health care systems and gain experience by working with local health care providers.
Oberstein is a professor of practice in the leadership and interdisciplinary studies faculty group in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts.
