Long Bio
Derek Powell is an Assistant Professor of Behavioral Data Science. He studies higher-order cognition, such as reasoning and belief revision, using novel data and statistical methods. He received his PhD in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Before joining ASU he spent time as a researcher at Stanford University and at Facebook.
