Long Bio

Lisa Irish is a Communications Specialist for the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. Before joining ASU in 2024, Lisa served as a communications specialist for Arizona School Boards Association and an education reporter for AZEdNews.com. She previously was a reporter for The Daily Courier in Prescott, a web content manager for KTAR.com, a night web editor at azcentral.com and a web news producer at Wall Street Journal.com. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts from Texas Christian University and a Master of Arts from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
