April Maguire is a Coordinator with the School of Community Resources and Development working with the Graduate programs. These programs include the Ph.D., MSCRD, Sustainable Tourism MST and the Master of Nonprofit Leadership and Management (MNLM), Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management and the Graduate Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship and Community Development. She works with graduate students from their first contact regarding the programs to graduation. April Maguire was a Specialist at the ASU Lodestar Center and she had worked for the Center since June of 2006 to June of 2019. Responsibilities included working under the Executive Director and assisting the Business Operations Manager with finances for the Center. In these capacities, she works with all the units at the ASU Lodestar Center. April is an advisor for the nonprofit graduate programs. These programs are the Master of Nonprofit Leadership and Management (MNLM), Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management and the Graduate Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship and Community Development. She works with graduate students from their first contact regarding the programs to graduation. April Maguire came to the Center from the Tempe Union High School District where she worked in Student Services. Prior to TUHSD April worked in the Kyrene School District in preschool special education. She has worked her way up from preschool to university! Maguire has a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies, Organizations Studies, from Arizona State University and a Master of Education, Human Relations, from Northern Arizona University.
