Associate Professor, American Indian Studies, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences

Carol Lujan is an Emeritus Associate Professor at Arizona State University. She is of the Diné Nation from Arizona and received her doctorate in sociology from the University of New Mexico. She is a founding member of the American Indian Studies program at Arizona State University. Her course history includes AIS 494 ST: American Indians in Cinema, Arts, and Media, and AIS 380 Contemporary Issues of American Indian Nations.

Lujan is also an award-winning clay and glass artist. She comes from a long line of rug weavers and many of the designs on her glass rugs come from her grandmother's weavings.
