Lauren Reid

Lauren Reid is a faculty associate with the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, where she teaches entrepreneurship courses in the Technological Entrepreneurship and Management program at the Polytechnic School.

Reid is an ASU alumnus and graduated with an M.S.Tech in Management of Technology and a B.S. in Marketing from the W. P. Carey School of Business. During her time as a student at ASU, she worked as a teaching assistant for Jason Bronowitz, and then as an instructor for creativity and innovation at W. P. Carey. From there she split her time between the W. P. Carey School of Business' entrepreneurship program and ASU Online, working to build and migrate online courses.

After Reid graduated from ASU for her undergrad, she attended a professional makeup artistry program in California and currently works in production. She also has experience as a freelance marketing consultant where she has worked with companies who have huge clients like Target, Tyson Foods, Home Depot, etc. all the way to individuals like lawyers, aestheticians, fitness experts, coffee shops, and other small business owners. Reid has helped them improve marketing efforts and strategies on many levels, however, her main focus is online marketing (SEO, paid search, blogging, social media, email campaigns, landing page optimization and aesthetic, and overseeing teams of people etc.)

In addition to teaching, she currently serves as a start up consultant for a small business and works as a freelance professional makeup artist. Her work can be seen in many print publications, commercials, ads, films, TV shows...you name it! In her "spare time" she works on designing her latest works of art pieces.
