Carol joined ASU in 2013 and began her ASU career at the ASU Office of Knowledge Enterprise, now Knowledge Enterprise where she provided executive administrative support to the Associate Vice President of Science, Engineering and Technology as well as provided office operations support to the executive team. In 2014 she joined the W.P. Carey School of Business Graduate Programs Office as an event coordinator where she provided event coordination support to the operations, student services and recruitment teams.
Wanting to further pursue her passion in event planning, in 2015, she made the move to join the ASU Office of University Events and Protocol where she oversaw special events including but not limited to: VIP receptions, high level meetings, groundbreakings, grand openings, external partnership events and helped coordinate numerous special events for the ASU Mayo and ASU Starbucks partnerships. In 2017, she provided complete logistical support for the first Starbucks ASU Partnership forum which hosted Starbucks CEO, Howard Schultz.
In 2019 she joined the Office of University Ceremonies where she oversaw the planning and execution of Hispanic Convocation, a special interest graduation ceremony that honors the accomplishments of ASU Hispanic students pursuing higher education and is open to all graduating students of ASU. Carol supported the efforts of the ceremonies team in the planning of ASU Commencement/Special Interest Convocations, Academic Bowl, and the Regent's Professor and President's Professor induction ceremonies.
In her most recent role with The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Carol will work alongside the events team and plan events related to the Democracy and Climate Change Initiative led by David Orr and Executive Vice Provost, Patrick Kenney and the Democracy at Work speaker series involving David Axelrod.
In 2025 this series was rebranded as the Dialogues for Democracy forum - a dynamic speaker series co-sponsored by ASU's Center for Free Speech, This series has featured top political strategists and thought leaders with many events hosted by David Axelrod and Ambassador Jeff Flake who is leading ASU's Institute of Politics.
