Travis is a native Arizonan and an accomplished fundraising and nonprofit professional. In 2020, Travis was awarded the prestigious Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation. A graduate of Arizona State University, Travis has made their return to ASU as the Associate Director of Development for the Graduate College and Knowledge Exchange for Resilience. Travis is currently pursuing their MBA Degree from the University of Arizona Eller School of Management.
Previously, Travis spent four years as the Director of Development at the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation and three years as the Associate Director of Advancement at San Miguel High School, both located in Tucson, Arizona. Travis strives to empower and improve the quality of life in the communities in which they live. This is exceptionally evident from their time spent in Malawi, where they served for two years with the U.S. Peace Corps, working in education and community development.
When they are not building relationships both inside and outside of work, you can often find Travis volunteering for various causes around town, including sitting on the boards for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Southwest Tennis Foundation, and Children's Museum Tucson & Oro Valley. During their free time, you can also find them playing sports (tennis, kickball, softball, and flag football), running a queer and allied pickleball league, spending time with family and friends, or hiking the beautiful Sonoran Desert.
