Joe Russo is the Director of the Edson College Learning Enterprise at Arizona State University’s Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation. He received his Master of Public Health from the University of Arizona, and his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from Arizona State University. Mr. Russo is also a Doctor of Public Health candidate in maternal and child health at the University of Arizona, where his research focuses on data-driven methods to address healthcare access disparities in reproductive health. As a health professional, Mr. Russo’s work focuses on health systems development, program implementation, and increasing accessibility of services. His experience has included both direct delivery of public health programs as a faculty member with the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension, and management of state-wide maternal and child health programs with the Arizona Department of Health Services.
Since joining the Edson College, his work has focused on professional and executive education for health leaders, and developing new models to deliver programs and education to health professionals around the world.
