When it comes to design work, Russ is a firm believer that “everything is figureoutable”. He graduated with a degree in Industrial Design from Arizona State University in 2016 and has been developing compelling designs that solve problems and sell ever since. He has worked with award-winning teams developing a variety of products from surgical tools, medical devices, packaging, houseware products, retail environments and even spacecraft designs.
He is passionate about form development, ergonomics, and minimalism in designs. He loves the thrill of developing a concept from a napkin sketch to mass production. Russ loves to get his hands dirty making old-school prototypes, sketching with pen and paper, and creating animations of his work.
Not only is Russ passionate about his design work, he also strives to give back to the design community by hosting events and discussions centered on mentorship and professional development through his passion project- The Variable Design Podcast.
