Kevin Beyer is the Executive Director of Information Technology for The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Arizona State University. He leads a team that supports technology strategy, web services, cybersecurity, and learning technologies across 18 academic units, more than 50 research centers and institutes, and The College Dean’s Office.
Kevin began his career in the early 1990s, when the Internet and digital media were rapidly emerging. As part of the original team that launched Discovery Channel’s first commercial and educational websites, he gained hands-on experience in web development and multimedia that would shape his career. He later served as Technical Manager on these projects for nearly a decade while also running a consulting business.
Since moving to Arizona in 2003, Kevin has held technology leadership positions at Prescott College, the University of Arizona, and ASU, progressing from technical roles into senior leadership. With more than 30 years of experience spanning both hands-on and executive work, his focus today is on supporting The College’s technology infrastructure and enabling faculty, staff, and students to work, teach, and collaborate effectively.
