Lisa Kaplan attended undergraduate school at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In pursuit of higher education, Lisa went on to earn a MPA from the University of Southern California and a MA from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Following graduation Lisa worked as the Director of Community Relations, Planning, and Allocations for the Jewish Federation of Greater New Orleans. She went on to Philadelphia to become the Assistant Director of Hillel at the University of Pennsylvania. Looking for warmer weather Lisa returned to Los Angeles to work for the Jewish Federation as the Director of Teen and College Services. She then moved on to become the Director of Recruitment and Admissions for Hebrew Union College. Lisa was recruited back to the Jewish Federation where she ran the Leadership Development Department. Tired of traffic, Lisa decided to move to Arizona. In Arizona, Lisa has served as the Director of Planning and Allocation and the Jewish Federation, as the the Director of Development at Jewish Free Loan and most recently as the Assistant Director of the Center for Jewish Studies here at Arizona State University.
