Long Bio
Lori P. Selby is a statistician and PhD candidate in Statistics at Arizona State University. Her research centers on Bayesian hierarchical models for longitudinal data, with a particular focus on endogeneity, feedback mechanisms, and time-dependent covariates in binary outcomes. She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in mathematics, statistics, and healthcare data analysis at Arizona State University, New York University, and the University of Trinidad and Tobago. Her research has been published in Statistics in Medicine, and she is a co-author of Modeling Binary Correlated Responses Using SAS, SPSS, R, and STATA (2nd ed., 2024). A Fulbright Scholar and Secretary of the Arizona Chapter of the American Statistical Association, Lori is passionate about collaborative research and developing accessible approaches to teaching complex statistical concepts.
