Long Bio
Samuel is an AI Acceleration Analyst at Arizona State University’s Enterprise Technology, where he collaborates with the data science chapter on building machine learning models and conducting feature engineering to drive impactful insights. In his current role, Samuel focuses on developing business intelligence dashboards aimed at the early detection of student populations likely to experience financial struggles. This enables the university to allocate resources more effectively, empowering students to overcome challenges.
With a strong foundation in software engineering and data science, Samuel has led projects that revolutionized Uganda’s agribusiness sector. His work increased user engagement by 80% and streamlined operations through automation, improving overall productivity.
Samuel is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence in Business at Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business as a Mastercard Foundation Scholar, where he is honing his expertise in AI, machine learning, and data science. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics from Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, graduating with honors.
His work seeks to bridge technology, data science, and business, with a focus on applying AI to solve real-world challenges in education and beyond.
