  • Kimberly Holst's scholarship examines the intersection of law and media—particularly how media impacts public understanding of law or legal issues. She is a frequent presenter on effective law school pedagogy before domestic and international audiences.
  • Tamara Herrera teaches a variety of courses, including Legal Writing and Method, Legal Advocacy, Writing for Law Practice, Indian Legal Research, and first-year Property.
  • Douglas Sylvester is the 8th dean of the College of Law at ASU. Under his leadership, ASU Law reached historic heights ranked 25th in the nation (up from 40th in 2012) and 8th among public law schools.
  • Susan Chesler teaches Legal Method and Writing, Legal Advocacy, and Contract Drafting and Negotiating. Her scholarship focuses on transactional drafting and applied legal storytelling. She started teaching at ASU in 2008.
  • Zachary Kramer is the Jonathan and Wendy Rose Professor of Law in the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. He teaches and writes in the areas of property law and civil rights law.
