B. Blair Braden is an Associate Professor in the College of Health Solutions and Director of the Autism and Brain Aging Laboratory. She received her doctorate in behavioral neuroscience - psychology from ASU in 2012. She completed her postdoctoral training in neuroimaging and neuropsychology at Barrow Neurological Institute, St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix.
- Postdoctoral Fellow, Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital, Phoenix.
- Ph.D. Behavioral Neuroscience-Psychology, Arizona State University 2012
The Autism Brain Aging Laboratory is among the first to study age-related changes in older autistic adults, with a focus on sex differences, through a unique longitudinal cognitive and brain aging study. Additionally, Dr. Braden and her collaborative research group translate cognitive and brain findings into meaningful support programs for autistic adults, such as mindfulness techniques and habit formation strategies.
