Malina Torres is an instructor at Global Launch, teaching English as a second language to international students from around the world. She is passionate about empowering learners in communication and academic skills. A native of Arizona, she graduated from ASU with a B.A. in English Literature and an M.A. in Applied Linguistics and will graduate with a M.Ed. in Instructional Design and Technology from American College of Education in November 2024. She has taught first year composition in individual class settings as well as the Face-to-Face Writers' Studio at ASU downtown Phoenix campus and Maricopa County Community Colleges. Aside from composition, she has taught English to international non-native speakers for academic and professional purposes in the United States and abroad.
