Zita Schiller

Dr. Zita Schiller, DNP, RN, PMHNP-BC graduated with her Doctor in Nursing Practice (DNP) from Arizona State University in 2014.  She assimilated a well-rounded clinical experience as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner by working with children, adolescents, adults and families in various settings, including inpatient acute eating disorders, inpatient crisis mental health, outpatient mental health, substance abuse addiction treatment working with complex childhood and adult trauma, academic teaching and telemedicine.  She taught clinical mental health nursing as an adjunct clinical nursing faculty at Glendale Community College from 2013 to 2015.  She began teaching at Arizona State University Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation in the Spring of 2021 as a prelicensure faculty associate. In the Fall of the same year, she joined as a clinical assistant professor in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program. She is tremendously honored to have been given the opportunity to serve alongside an extraordinary league of former professors and mentors, a true pantheon of giants and trailblazers within the diverse fields of advanced practice nursing.
