Fall '24-Spring '16: Teacher, Compadre Academy
Teacher of biology and botany; co-sponsor of the school’s Garden club. Developed botany curriculum, delivered regular lessons, and organized learning opportunities for students that were unsuccessful at traditional schools.
Fall '16 - Present: Teacher, Corona del Sol High School
Teacher of general biology and Zoology/Botany. Developed a unique natural history curriculum for the Zoology/Botany class which employs research-based best practices and differentiated experiences for students according to their goals and interests. Sponsor of the school’s Nature Clubs. Designer and Curator of “Sol Gardens”; the school’s greenhouse/garden complex.
