Jorge Franco IV is pursuing his PhD in Comparative Culture and Language at Arizona State University. He is a graduate teaching associate for the Romanian Department and the School of International Letters and Cultures. He is also a faculty associate for the Central European Cultural Collaborative. He holds a BA in Literary Studies & Creative Arts from the American University of Paris and an MFA in Writing from Royal Central, University of London. His research interests include 19th-century gothic literature, medieval French literature, and the intersection between western and central European literary practice in the Middle Ages.
