Katherine Hunt Brendish is a director and clinical professor in the College of Health Solutions. She joined ASU in 2019, coming from the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine, where she was an assistant professor in the Department of Clinical Genomics. She received her doctorate in biology and society from Arizona State University in 2013. She is a Certified Genetic Counselor (CGC) with the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
Brendish is an experienced certified genetic counselor and is developing degree programs that prepare students to counsel individuals and families on the complex issues surrounding genetic testing.
