Long Bio
Carol Hepburn holds a masters’ degree in literature from Mercy College (NY). Her thesis was on medieval spirituality and considered the personal writings of St. Julian of Norwich. Her doctorate from Regent University (VA) is in communication. Her dissertation explored the role of mediated communication, the formation of organizational identity and culture in the American megachurch.
Current research projects include studies in language and learning, specifically how students understand assignment instructions within digital environments such as Blackboard. Other research includes communication studies in language theory as it relates to second language learners within the composition classroom.
