Scott began teaching as a Faculty Associate for the Design School in the fall of 2013 teaching undergraduates in visual communications and design. In the fall of 2015 Scott assumed additional teaching duties as an Instructor teach both graduate and undergraduate courses in information design and visual communications.
Scott is also a design professional with more than 20 years of experience. Scott has worked with such companies such as Landor Associates (San Francisco and Seattle), Esser Design (Phoenix), SHR Perceptual Management (Scottsdale) and many others. Scott served as Senior Creative Director for the ASU Foundation, compiling and cascading brand standards throughout the university system for the New American University brand, from 2009-13. Scott has also served as Principal and Executive Creative Director for the Brand Navigator, a brand consultancy and design studio, since 2000 working with both regional and national based clients developing comprehensive brand programs.
