Scott Curtis began teaching as a Faculty Associate in the Design School at Arizona State University in Fall 2013, working with undergraduate students in visual communication design. In Fall 2015, he expanded his role as an Instructor, teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in information design and visual communication.
In addition to his academic work, Scott is a design professional with more than 30 years of industry experience. He has worked with leading firms including Landor Associates (San Francisco and Seattle), Esser Design (Phoenix), and SHR Perceptual Management (Scottsdale), among others. From 2009 to 2013, Scott served as Senior Creative Director for the ASU Foundation, where he led the development and implementation of brand standards across the university system in support of the New American University initiative.
Since 2000, Scott has served as Principal and Executive Creative Director of Brand Navigator, a brand consultancy and design studio. Through this work, he has partnered with both regional and national clients to develop comprehensive brand programs.
