Nicholas Maddox

Nick Maddox is the Associate Director of eProjects in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. He develops partnerships with industry organizations to create sponsored engineering projects that give students the opportunity to solve real-world challenges as part of their capstone experience. Working closely with faculty and industry sponsors, he helps shape projects that align academic goals with business needs while creating meaningful experiences for students and long-term value for partners.

Before joining eProjects, Nick managed a portfolio of professional education programs for ASU's Global Outreach and Extended Education. He partnered with faculty, employers, and internal teams to develop custom workforce training programs, microcredentials, and other learning opportunities, guiding new programs from concept to launch.

Earlier in his career, Nick served as Assistant Director for Academic Support in ASU's College of Integrative Sciences and Arts, where he led curriculum planning, assessment, enrollment strategy, and academic operations across a large portfolio of degree and continuing education programs. Those experiences gave him a broad understanding of university operations and a deep appreciation for working alongside faculty to develop high-quality academic programs.

Across every role, Nick has been driven by building relationships, connecting people with opportunities, and finding practical ways to turn good ideas into successful programs. His professional interests include experiential learning, university-industry partnerships, higher education leadership, and creating opportunities that prepare students for successful careers.
