I currently work as a Research Project Coordinator under the direction of Dr. Chung Jung Mun and am positioned within his Biobehavioral Pain, Addiction, Sleep, and Momentary Experience (Bi-PAS ME) Research Laboratory located in the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation. I relocated from the East Coast (Massachusetts and Pennsylvania), where I had lived the majority of my life, to come to Arizona for undergraduate and graduate studies. I received both my BS and MS in Exercise and Wellness from Arizona State University in 2015 and 2017, respectively. After graduating, I worked briefly at Arizona State University in the College of Health Solutions as a Project Coordinator before my role was moved to the Mays Cancer Center at UT Health San Antonio as a Research Coordinator. In 2022 I was promoted to Research Coordinator-Senior. In 2023, I transitioned to my current role at Arizona State University within Dr. Mun's Bi-PAS ME Lab.
Outside of my role as Research Project Coordinator, I am passionate about sports performance and strength and conditioning for endurance athletes. I have a company, Peak Endurance Solutions, through which I work with a few endurance athletes on a very part-time basis in an effort to exercise this passion of mine. I love to work with triathletes and runners.
I am also a competitive endurance athlete myself and primarily focus on road and trail running. I have won some local triathlons, running races, and trail races, as well as running my first Boston Qualifying sub-3:00 marathon in 2023. I love to stay active through running, cycling, hiking, strength training, and walking with my dog.
BS Exercise and Wellness, Minor in Nutrition and Healthy Living - Arizona State University - 2015
MS Exercise and Wellness - Arizona State University - 2017
My research interests are in non-pharmacologic approaches to manage health and quality of life in adults with chronic conditions.
