Casey Ambrose, Deputy Chief Growth Officer for Marketing, joined EdPlus at ASU in October 2010. She oversees the development and implementation of all paid, earned and owned marketing and communication strategies for the EdPlus portfolio, including ASU Online. In her role, she is responsible for the growth and nurture strategies of marketing driven programs, both domestic and international. Her expertise in digital strategies, channel optimization, storytelling and promotion of the student experience is helping to fuel the rapid growth of the EdPlus portfolio.
Ambrose works closely with key strategic external partners, as well as internal ASU departments and colleges to ensure all consumer and partner related marketing and communication efforts for online learning are integrated into the overall ASU brand to create a seamless and best in class student experience. She and her team have received multiple President's Award for Innovation honors that reflect significant contributions to ASU and higher education through the creation, development and implementation of innovative projects, programs, initiatives and services.
Prior to joining ASU, Ambrose spent over a decade as the Advertising and Fulfillment Director for the Arizona Office of Tourism, a cabinet level agency within the State of Arizona. She was responsible for all domestic and international marketing efforts, call center operations and visitor guide magazine development and distribution.
An ASU alumna, Ambrose holds a Master of Science in Digital Audience Strategy and a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from the university. An Arizona native, Ambrose lives in the Phoenix area with her husband James and their son, Logan.
