Dr. Emilia Gracia, PhD in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics is the Head of Fluent Futures Lab and a Senior Global Educator at ASU Global Launch where she teaches English to international students, trains international teachers, designs online courses, and contributes to international business development. Dr. Gracia has been in the field of TESOL since 2009 and has taught English to speakers of other languages at universities in the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and the US. She has trained EFL teachers in Indonesia and Mexico, and has developed multilingual training courses online. Her doctoral work included breakthrough research in teaching second language pragmatics using Virtual Reality (VR). Her research interests include L2 Pragmatics, CALL/MALL/VRALL, Educational Technology, and Teacher Training.
