Dr. Obiageli Sneed has over two decades of experience in education, instructional design, and learning innovation. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from Arizona State University and a Doctorate in Leadership and Innovation, with a research focus on virtual learning environments and online learning design.
Her professional background spans K–12 education, higher education, and workforce learning. Dr. Sneed has served as a K–12 educator in the greater Phoenix area, a Program Specialist with the Arizona Department of Education, a researcher with ASU’s College of Nursing and Health Innovations, an Instructional Designer with EdPlus: ASU Online, a Senior Instructional Designer with ASU’s Future H2O initiative, and the Director of Course Design and Development for the Arizona College of Nursing. She also previously served as an Instructional Design Program Manager, Senior within ASU Learning Enterprise.
In her current role as Assistant Director of Learning Design at ASU Learning Enterprise, Dr. Sneed provides strategic leadership and oversight for learning design teams supporting Career and Professional Learning and Learning Innovations teams. Her work focuses on scalable, learner-centered design, cross-portfolio collaboration, and advancing high-quality digital learning experiences across the university.
