Kimberly Vana (DNP, RN, FNP-BC) is a Clinical Professor Emerita at the College of Nursing and Health Innovation. She taught recently in the RN-BSN and Concurrent Enrollment Programs in the Undergraduate Nursing Programs. Her current research interests include sleep health and nursing education pedagogy.
As a faculty member, she recently taught courses in the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs on literacy, professionalism, nursing administration, nursing education, health assessment, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, critical-care nursing, public health nursing, sleep health, and clinical practicums.
Professor Vana has practiced clinically as a family nurse practitioner in allergy, asthma and pulmonary, and sleep health. She is involved actively with national and local sleep organizations.
